Better Day Health™ version 1.54 was released June 8, 2022. This release includes updates to improve functionality and overall experience as well as a new feature initiative: EPCS Functionality

1. EPCS

• EPCS functionality allows providers to electronically prescribe controlled substance medications. This functionality includes identity proofing process, nominating provider roles, and 2FA authentication during signature process.

2. Add an IOP as an Amendment

• If appointment documentation is accidentally finalized before the IOP performed during a patient's visit, the staff is now able to add that specific IOP to the finalized appointment as an amendment. All necessary billing codes will be pushed to OPM upon finalization of the IOP amendment. 
• Steps to add an IOP amendment: 
  • In the Amend Appointment window, select "Add IOP" from the drop down
  • Search for and select the desired Document Skeleton which contains the IOP
    • NOTE: if only 1 IOP exists for the selected document skeleton, then it will automatically be chosen, if there are more than 1 then the user can choose the desired IOP from the subsequent dropdown
  • Change editable information if desired
  • The user can then Route to a Different Provider or Sign it themselves if they are the performing provider 

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed issue when encounter document received incorrect provider signature
2. Fixed issue when signature is missing for imaging order
3. Patient balance is displayed when appt is edited
4. Duplicated medications not created when importing medications history
