Making a Clone of a Document Skeleton is a quick way to make a copy of an existing Document Skeleton that can then be modified with any changes or alterations, renamed, and published along side existing documents. This function can save time by using already existing components within a Document Skeleton and ensure the accuracy of changing details in complex document skeletons.
Path: Super Admin Module > Right Side Menu > Document Skeleton
1. Use the Filters to search for and narrow down the Document Skeleton results displayed below.
2. Select the Document Skeleton you wish to Clone. Then click the button labeled 'Clone.'
3. This will open the Clone Document Skeleton popup. This displays a list of all the sections of the Document Skeleton. By default all sections are selected, meaning the selected sections contents will be copied into the newly Cloned Document Skeleton. Deselect any section you wish to omit from the Clone. When complete, click 'Save.'
4. After a few moments the Cloned Document Skeleton will be saved and available in the Document Skeleton List as 'Copy of "Original DS Name"'.
The Cloned copy can now be published as is, or it can be edited, renamed, and updated by left clicking the Document Skeleton in the list.
