In the Help Center you can search our knowledge base of articles and videos for answers to your questions, follow the latest news and announcements about the Better Day Health software, or access training courses for various roles in your organization.
00:30 If you can’t find your answers in the knowledge base or training, you can also Submit a request to contact our support team for help with a specific problem. We’ll take a look at each of these areas of the Help Center in this brief video.
00:47 You can access the Help Center from the Better Day Health software by clicking on the Help icon in the top right area of your screen. This will open a new tab in your web browser.
In the event that you cannot access your Better Day Health software, you can also reach our Help Center by visiting our website at BetterDayHealth.com. Click on the Contact tab and click on the Help Center link.
01:22 If you have a question about how to accomplish a particular task, start by searching our knowledge base for an answer to your question. You can do this by entering your question into the Search field here.
01:40 Notice that in the left-hand column of the help article you’ll find suggestions for other articles that may be relevant to your question.
01:50 An alternative way to search is by clicking on the Knowledge Base tab here to allow you to browse through the help articles. Clicking on any Section Name will give you a list of all topics under that particular heading.
02:09 The Training area of the help center gives you access to courses designed to get you up to speed quickly on working within the various roles or modules within the Better Day Health software. Each course contains a mix of video and text lessons that will give you an introduction to the tools you’ll be working with. The courses are carefully constructed so each lesson walks you through the basic knowledge you’ll need to get started using the software as quickly as possible.

02:50 In the event that you can’t find the answer to your question in our knowledge base, or if you need specific technical help or would like to report a possible bug you’ve encountered, you can “submit a request” or ask a question directly to our support team.
03:08 Our help center is specifically set up for complete HIPAA compliance. Because standard email is not considered secure and to ensure protection of all Protected Health Information, ALL requests to our support team should be submitted through the Help Center.
03:30 To do this, click on the Submit a Request link in the upper right-hand corner of the page. This opens a request form page. After supplying certain basic information, you’ll choose from the “What can we help you with?” drop down menu.
03:51 NOTE that this request form is dynamic, meaning that depending on your choice in this field you may be presented with different fields to complete. A bug report, for instance, will ask you to supply more detailed information to allow our support team to quickly locate the possible problem.
04:15 You will also see that when you enter the subject of your request, you’ll be presented with suggestions of knowledge base articles that may help answer your questions.
04:29 Below the Description box, you’ll see an Attachments area. Here you can add files such as brief video screen captures or screenshots to help describe the issue you’re having.
04:44 Remember, on any type of request you submit, the more details you can give, the more quickly and accurately we can answer your questions!
04:55 Once you have completed the form, click the Submit button. If this is your first time submitting a request to the Help Center, you’ll see a prompt asking you to check your email to verify your email address. To submit a request, you must be registered with the Help Center. Just check your inbox and follow the prompts to quickly create a password so you can complete and track the progress of your request.
05:28 The next time you sign in to the Better Day Health Help Center, you’ll see a drop down menu next to your name. By choosing “My activities,” you’ll be able to see any requests that you’ve submitted. By clicking on “Organization requests,” you’ll see any requests submitted by other members of your organization.
05:55 To get details on the progress of your ticket, click on the name of your ticket under the Subject heading. In the right-hand column you’ll see details about your ticket. You’ll see interactions you’ve had with the BDH support team here. If you’d like to request or add information about your ticket, you can do that here, including attaching any files that could be helpful to our team in resolving your issue.
06:27 When the BDH Support Team responds to your request, either asking for additional information or offering a solution to your issue, you’ll receive a notification in your email with a link to your ticket in the Help Center. For HIPAA compliance, no other information will be sent in the email. To view any activity on your ticket, you’ll need to sign in to the Help Center using the link in your notification email.
