Once any person has been entered into the Better Day system, they can never really be deleted, but they can be removed from sight; this is called making them Invalid. They may be brought back into view by making them Valid. This can only be done from the Administration tab.

From the Administration tab (module), click the arrow to reveal the search filters.

Use the filters to find the staff member that you want to make invalid.

Left click on the line containing the name.

Enter the Valid From date, if known. (This field is only necessary if you wish to use a date range to make a person’s record valid).

Enter the Valid To date. (Any date before the current date will invalidate (inactivate) them.)

Click Save to finish.
To make valid (reactivate) a person who has been made invalid, select the Show Invalid Items checkbox in the search filters, search for the person’s name and select him, and delete the Valid To date.
