Click the My Tasks button.

Click New.

Many tasks that you do will be “Related to” a patient or provider in your clinic. If so, click “Yes” and a dropdown window will appear.

In the Person box, start typing the name and select the name from the dropdown that will appear as you type.

Click on the circle next to the “Related Object Type.”

Open the dropdown menu in the “Related Object” field and select the specific object you want to relate to your task.

Click Add.

If there is an additional “Related Object Type,” click New and repeat steps 6 and 7.

Describe the task in the Description box.

Enter a Due Date for this task.

Check Notify When Complete if you wish to notify someone when the task is completed.

Begin typing the name and select from the dropdown that appears.

Click Save & Close.
