Version 2.16 Release Notes

Better Day Health™ version 2.16 is projected to be released on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. This release includes improvements and bug fixes to improve functionality and overall experience.

 

Improvements

  1. Added 'Documents' grid filters in Appointment Patient Summary Modal
  2. Implemented "type to search" functionality in all single-select and multi-select dropdowns
  3. (Zendesk) Added NPI number to provider lookups and ability to search providers by NPI number
  4. Added 'Time Slot Search' Functionality to Providers Appointment List and Front Desk -> 'Needs to Be Rescheduled' tab -> appointment context menu
  5. All future appointments now displayed in the 'Upcoming' queue in Patient Dashboard and Patient Portal
  6. Tobacco use diagnoses ('Z72.0 Tobacco use' and 'Z87.891 Personal history of nicotine dependence') are not automatically provided as Other Dx in Diagnosis
  7. Added 'Abbreviation' field to Surgical Procedures dictionary
  8. Added Medicare Part D reporting functionality for 2023
  9. (Zendesk) Added Document Skeleton information to Audit Logs in Print or Preview Encounter Summary modal

 

Bugs

  1. (Zendesk) Fixed issue when medication prescription 'Other' section is not providing details
  2. (Zendesk) Fixed issue when main diagnosis could not be added to the appointment
  3. (Zendesk) Fixed server error while opening Form Items for Job Scheduler Logs
  4. Fixed issue when time slots are left after scheduling exception apply
  5. Fixed issue when information about applied scheduling template was missing

  • 1. Navigate to SA -> Surgical Procedures. In the filter area Click the "Billing Code" field and search for the desired billing code

  • 3. Click the "Abbreviation" field and enter the desired abbreviation for the surgical procedure/billing code

8. Added Medicare Part D reporting functionality for 2023
     8.1 "Payer Billing Groups" Dictionary Added - Added and Managed via Better Day Billing

  • SA --> Dictionaries --> Payer Billing Groups

 

  • Payer Billing Groups can be selected as "Part D Claims" for reporting purposes

 

     8.2 CMS will analyze Medicare Part D claims and use the prescriber’s National Provider
           Identifier (NPI) to measure compliance for all prescribing, regardless of the prescriber’s
           practice location

  • 70% of all eligible Medicare Part D Schedule II-V controlled substance prescriptions electronically prescribed.

  • Added 'Medicare Part D' stage and reports information: SA -->Reports -->Compliance Reports --> Medicare Part D (STAGE) --> EPCS Reporting
