Version 2.15 Release Notes

Better Day Health™ version 2.15 is projected to be released on July 12, 2023. This release includes improvements and bug fixes to improve functionality and overall experience.

Improvements

1. Implemented 'Tasks' queue in N&S dashboard

2. Added 'Patient's Last 5 Appointments' grid to New / Edit Appointment window

3. (Zendesk) AppointmentTime and AppointmentDate placeholders added to ArrivalProcedures text message template

4. (Zendesk) Improved imaging report document import when addendum is received from LifeTrack integration

5. Prevention of duplicate document creation for lab results

6. (Zendesk) Created a job to re-send pending faxes

7. Added filters and grid sorting for text messages templates in system settings

Bug Fixes

1. (Zendesk) Fixed issue where the notification was not being displayed in the correct notification box for urgent tasks

Improvements

1. Implemented 'Tasks' queue in N&S dashboard

• In N&S -> right side menu -> Dashboard, the N&S staff can now find a 'Tasks' queue along with the 'Documents' and 'Tools' Queues 
• 

2. Added 'Patient's Last 5 Appointments' grid to New / Edit Appointment window

• When scheduling or editing an appointment, the users will now see a summary of the last 5 appointments across all clinics for this patient in the New / Edit Appointment window. 
• Note: If a patient has no previous appointments with this organization, then the Last 5 Appointments grid will not be displayed. 
• 

3. (Zendesk) AppointmentTime and AppointmentDate placeholders added to ArrivalProcedures text message template

• 2 placeholders were added to the 'Arrival Procedures' text message template: {AppointmentDate} and {AppointmentTime}

• Additionally, the system default 'Arrival Procedures' text template was updated so that the first sentence will be changed to the following:

  Hello, We see that you have an appointment with {ProviderName} at {ClinicName} today at {AppointmentTime}.

• 

4. (Zendesk) Improved imaging report document import when addendum is received from LifeTrack integration

• Addendum Information will be printed at the bottom of the BDH Imaging report
• The original document will be removed
• The Document date will be taken from addendum information

5. Prevention of duplicate document creation for lab results

•  Duplicate documents will no longer be created when signing a lab test. If report data already exists as the document, then it will be related to the lab test.
• When lab results return for multiple tests then report data will be assigned for the individual tests instead of for the whole order. If results are returned for one test, then the system will assign report data for that test

6. (Zendesk) Created a job to re-send pending faxes

• The "Resend Pending Faxes Job" was created to take faxes with 'Sending' status and try to re-send them. The default is set to run every hour. 

• The Job will take all faxes with 'Sending' status starting at {Current Time} - 30min. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to resend the fax, the system will set it to 'Failed' status with "Unable to send" error message.

• Any Fax that is older than the current day will be changed from 'Sending' to 'Failed'.

7. Added filters and grid sorting for text messages templates in system settings

• Code and Clinic filters were added to the grid, as well as the ability to sort the grid columns. Users can sort the columns by clicking on the column headers.
