Version 2.11 Release Notes
Better Day Health™ version 2.11 is projected to be released on May 3, 2023. This release includes updates and bug fixes to improve functionality and overall experience.
1. Added a tooltip to display the number of scheduled appointments of the day in calendar view
2. Implemented 'Provider' filter in Time Slot Search functionality
3. Implemented 'Cancellation Reason' field
4. Added a 'Medical Specialty column' to Follow-up grids and Follow-up favorites grids globally
5. Added the patient's phone numbers and a link to the patient's dashboard in 'Edit DME Order' modal
6. DME On-The-Fly orders now signed when 'Send to Checkout', 'Send to DME', or 'Print' was clicked by the ordering provider
7. Information is saved automatically after clicking 'Print' in Edit Pre-Certification modal
8. Created 'New Message In Patient Portal Notification' text message template
9. Increased font size for Lifetrack document

Improvements
1. Added a tooltip to display the number of scheduled appointments of the day in calendar view and in the provider dashboard schedule agenda
- Users can now see a count of the number of active appointments in the calendar view by hovering over the provider's name at the top of the column in the calendar and also by hovering over the date in Provider Dashboard -> Schedule Agenda on the left side of the screen
- The data in the calendar count depends on the filters set and only the following statuses are considered in the count: Confirmed, Booked, Arrived, Ready to See Nurse, Ready to See Provider, Testing & Tx, Checking Out, Checked-Out
2. Implemented 'Provider' filter in Time Slot Search functionality
- In the Time Slot Search Window, the newly added 'Provider' filter is a be a multi-select drop-down list which includes all users with a 'Physician' role
- 'Provider' filter is tied to the 'Clinic' and 'Workplace' filters, meaning that when the user selects 'Clinic' value(s), then the 'Provider' filter will display a list of providers associated with the selected clinic(s). If the user selects a specific Provider(s), then the 'Workplace' filter should display a list of workplaces associated with the selected providers.
3. Implemented 'Cancellation Reason' field
- When the user changes the Appointment Status to Canceled -> By Patient, the system will display an additional field under 'Canceled By' called 'Cancel Reason'. The information entered in this text will be displayed in all 'Edit Appointment'/'Appointment Info' sections of the system.

- If the user who is entering the DME order is also the Ordering Provider, upon clicking 'Send to Checkout', 'Send to DME', or 'Print', the order will be automatically signed instead of sent to the Provider's queue for signature.
7. Information is saved automatically after clicking 'Print' in Edit Pre-Certification modal
- Previously, information changed/entered in the Edit Pre-Certification modal was not reflected in the PDF when a user clicked print until after the Save button was clicked first and then the modal was reopened. The improvement has been made so that any changes made to the fields in the Edit Pre-certification modal will be reflected in the PDF when the user clicks 'Print' without the need to click the 'Save' button first.
8. Created 'New Message In Patient Portal Notification' text message template
- Patients will now receive a text message notification when they have a pending message from their provider/medical staff in the patient portal
- Note:
- this template can be edited in SA -> System Settings -> Text Message Templates
- SMS will only be sent to patients who are opted in for receiving SMS alerts
