Version 2.9 Release Notes
Better Day Health™ version 2.9 was released on April 5 , 2023. This release includes updates and bug fixes to improve functionality and overall experience.
Improvements
1. Changed study date to trigger date of export in the FT1-5 segment for Lifetrack integration
2. Added 'Time Slot Search' Button to N&S Appointment List
3. Improved Profile Photo ID UI/UX in the Patient Portal
4. Improved SMS logs by adding reason why message was skipped
5. Removed show/hide functionality from SSN field in Patient Portal
6. (Zendesk) Create 'Imaging Orders' report in Super Admin
7. Renamed validation for DME items without dispense status in Casting queue and added the validation to X-RAY queue
8. Added information dialog for patient if it's not allowed to cancel in Patient Portal

a. Renamed 'New Message' to 'New Internal Message' in Patient Dashboard

Bugs Fixes
1. Fixed issue when display validation for required email even when 'Unknown' checkbox is selected in patient portal
2. Fixed confirmation code undefined from Import Data Create New Patient
3. Fixed issue when email notification for new messages in Patient Portal were not provided from the provider
4. Fixed exception when trying to sign in with invalid user with Quick Access Code
5. (Zendesk-538) Fixed socket exception while placing consultation/referral order

For appointments with an item in Casting and a sent DME order without a dispense status
1. Auxiliary -> Queue for Casting. Validation 'Patient cannot be sent to Check Out. Not all DME items have Dispense Status.' has been changed to 'This patient needs DME items. Please send patient to DME.' when clicking 'Send to Checkout' button in the grid
a. The same validation has been added in the casting report edit modal
b. The same validation has been added to Auxiliary -> X-RAY module

Person is disabled and pre-filled with receiver's / related to person information in Encounter documentation /Document attachment for new message
Messaging --> Secure Messages --> New Messages:
1. If 'Patient' radio button is selected and Attachments -> Add is clicked and the user selects 'Encounter Documentation' or 'Documents', then 'Person' must be pre-filled from the 'To' -> 'Patient' field by default. Also, 'Person' field must be disabled.
If 'Staff' radio button is selected and Attachments -> Add is clicked and the user selects 'Encounter Documentation' or 'Documents', then 'Person' must be pre-filled from the 'Related To' -> 'Person' field by default. Also, 'Person' field must be disabled.
Updated text in Email for Patient portal message notifications
Added checkbox 'Override Start Date' to medication order
SA -> System Settings -> Text Messages Templates - Add Clinic Name Placeholder To All Templates
