Version 2.2 Release Notes
Better Day Health™ version 2.2 was released on December 14, 2022. This release included updates and bug fixes to improve functionality and overall experience.

Improvements
1. Announcements Functionality
- With this improvement, a Super Admin user is able to create announcements that are visible to all staff users
- The Announcements Icon is located in the top right corner of the screen with the existing fixed BDH icons when logged in as a staff user
- There are 3 different types of Announcements: Critical (Red), Warning (Orange), and Information (Blue)
- The order of urgency is as follows: Critical -> Warning -> Information
- For example:
- if there are 2 information announcements and 1 warning announcement, then the counter will show the total number of announcements (3) in Orange
- if there is 2 information announcement, 1 warning announcement , and 1 critical announcement, then the counter will show the total number of announcements (4) in Red.

2. Export Patient Medical Records Functionality - Staff and Patient Portal Access
- Staff Members and Patients can now export all of their medical records via a CCDA file

3. Improved Display of the Username Field in the Patient Dashboard
- If a patient is not yet registered (the do not have a username or password), then the username field of the patient dashboard will display "Not Registered"
4. Replaced Temporary Password Functionality With Quick Access Code Functionality
- Patients can now access their patient portal directly by using their smartphone to scan the Quick Access QR Code
- Staff can open the Quick Access QR Code from any of these locations:
- SA -> Users -> Edit -> Quick Access Code
- Patients -> Patient Dashboard -> Quick Access Code
- FD -> Edit Appointment -> Quick Access Code
- FD -> Appt -> Context Menu -> Quick Access Code
- If a patient is not physically at the office or is unable to scan the QR code, Staff can give the patient the Quick Access Code listed below the QR image:
- Patient should go to the patient portal log-in page and choose Reset Password then choose the option of 'Reset by Quick Access Code'
- Patient should go to the patient portal log-in page and choose Reset Password then choose the option of 'Reset by Quick Access Code'
- Note: if the patient has not yet registered (they do not have a username or password), then the system will display the patient's Confirmation Code instead
- In this case, the patient should click the 'Register As A New User' button on the patient portal homepage
5. Disclaimer Added To All Outbound Faxes

6. 'Provider' Field Now Only Include Providers Who Have A Workplace
- In Providers -> Documentation -> Provider dropdown field and in Super Admin -> Document Skeleton -> New / Edit -> Provider dropdown field only providers which have an active workplace will be displayed as options in the dropdown
